Santo Domingo.– Residents of Hato Nuevo, in Manoguayabo, reported that the Santo Domingo Aqueduct and Sewage Corporation (CAASD) is carrying out work without implementing necessary safety measures, putting citizens’ lives at risk.
This complaint arises after a vehicle fell into a trench opened by the institution last Saturday night, resulting in minor injuries to the driver and significant damage to the car.
Local residents claim the hole remains unmarked, warning pedestrians and drivers of the danger, a situation they fear could lead to a greater tragedy.
