Embajada de EE. UU. resalta el liderazgo y compromiso del presidente Abinader con la libertad y el desarrollo de la RD – RC Noticias

La Embajada de Estados Unidos en República Dominicana congratulated President Luís Abinader for receiving the “Champion Of Freedom Award” awarded by the Adam Smith Center For Economic Freedom at the University of Florida, United States.

In a message shared on its social media, the U.S. diplomatic representation highlights the value of the collaborative work between both nations to promote and protect freedom of expression.

President Abinader attended the ceremony last Saturday to receive the “Champion of Freedom” award given by the University of Florida, which honors global personalities committed to promoting and strengthening freedom in their countries and around the world.

Regarding this award, the U.S. Embassy states that it recognizes the leadership and commitment to freedom and development in the Dominican Republic. It adds, “As one of our Founding Fathers, Benjamin Franklin, pointed out: Those who sacrifice essential freedom for temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.”
