La relación entre la esposa del asesino y el hijo culminó en la muerte de un hombre

Santo Domingo Oeste.- Isiander David Heredia Florentino, a 38-year-old man and father of three, was fatally shot by Juan Alberto Rosario, also known as “Piti,” right in front of his home in the Caballona district following an assault on Heredia’s youngest son with a machete due to a romantic involvement the boy had with Rosario’s wife.

Jonathan Sori, the victim’s cousin, recounted that the tragic event stemmed from a dispute involving Isiander’s 16-year-old son and the murderer, over the teenager’s alleged romantic relationship with Rosario’s spouse. Upon discovering this, Rosario attacked the young boy with a machete, injuring his hand. After this violent act, Rosario fled, only to return the next day to Heredia’s residence and, without a word, shot him twice, resulting in his death.

Weeping, Elizabeth Montero, the widow of the deceased, has called for justice, underlining that her husband was an honorable, hardworking individual who earned his living as a driver on the inDrive transport platform.

Clearly distressed, the family disclosed that Rosario had previously had legal issues and had served time in prison.

Despite his criminal record, “Piti” surrendered to the authorities after the murder to face the charges.

The family demands the maximum sentence for Rosario for the murder of Isiander Heredia.

“It’s not enough for him to have turned himself in. We want him to pay for what he has done. He took Isiander from us and left three children fatherless,” Sori stated.

In the meantime, the victim’s relatives and friends continue to await decisive action from the authorities.
