Nombran al vicealmirante Luis Rafael Lee Ballester como nuevo director de Migración

Santo Domingo.- Vice Admiral Luis Rafael Lee Ballester (ARD) has been appointed as the new Director General of the General Directorate of Migration, replacing Venancio Alcántara Valdez.

This appointment was made official through Executive Decree 560-24, issued this Saturday by the Executive Power.

At the time of his appointment, Lee Ballester was serving as the director of the Armed Forces Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cybersecurity, and Intelligence Center, known as C5i.

It is noted that Alcántara Valdez had held the position for two years, having replaced Enrique García in August 2022.
